Nicholas Kenyon has been Director of Classical Music at the BBC since
1996. He was a music critic for The New Yorker, The Observer, and The
Times [London], and is the author of the influential Authenticity and
Early Music. A board member of the English National Opera and the
Guildhall School of Music, Nicholas was appointed a CBE in 2001.
